Chicken Porcupine (Dumpling) Recipe Using Rice Bran Oil

How To Cook

  • 250 gm chicken mince
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped carrots
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tsp physically refined rice bran oil
  • 1 egg
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 3 tbsp spring onions
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • ½ cup rice, oil it for greasing
  • Wash and soak the rice for 2 hours. Drain the water and keep it aside. Take the chicken mince and mix all the ingredients in a bowl, dividing them into equal-size balls

  • Roll these balls into the raw soaked rice and place them on a greased plate. Steam them all on high heat for 15 mins

  • Remove them once done and enjoy these delicious chicken dumplings with soya sauce
