Pahadi Paneer Tikka Recipe

Ingredients For the Tikka

  • ½ Cup Capsicum- Cut into small cubes
  • ½ Cup Onion Cubes
  • ½ Cup Paneer Cubes
  • 3-4 Boiled Potatoes

Ingredients For the Marinate

  • ¼ Cup Chopped Mint Leaves
  • ½ Cup Chopped Coriander
  • 5-6 Whole Cashewnuts
  • ¼ Cup Thick Dahi
  • 2-3 Green Chillies
  • 25mm Ginger
  • 1 tsp Doctors’ Choice kachi ghani oil
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Process

Process for the Marinate

  1. Grind the mint, coriander, cashew nuts, green chillies, and ginger altogether.
  1. Mix the coriander paste along with the curd, mustard oil, and salt. Keep it aside for some time.

Process for the Tikka

  1. Add the onion, capsicum, paneer, and potatoes to the marinade and keep it aside for ½ hour.
  1. Add one piece of onion, potato, capsicum, and paneer to a wooden skewer. Repeat the process

Process for the Next Step

  1. Place the skewers into the microwave and let them sit for 3 minutes.
  1. Remove and spoon the marinade from the plate back onto the tikkas and microwave on high for 2 more minutes.
